DRESS CODE
We know how busy dance parents are and how quickly kids can go through dance clothes and shoes. Please visit the front desk to purchase shoes, tights, dancewear, and more.
Only small earrings are allowed. Other jewelry is not permitted.
BALLET LEVEL 1:
GIRLS: Any color leotard, pink tights, and pink ballet shoes with elastic. Tutus or ballet skirts are allowed as long as they do not distract the dancer. Hair must be in a neat bun. Hip alignment belt is required.
BOYS: Any color tank top, black shorts or black ballet tights, and black ballet shoes with elastic. Hair should be kept out of the face and neatly groomed if long.
BALLET LEVEL 2-6:
GIRLS: All ballet levels require a black leotard, required tights (BLOCH Child "Endura" Convertible Tights in Ballet Pink - Style No. T0935G or BLOCH Adult "Endura" Convertible Tights in Ballet Pink - Style No. T0935L), and ballet shoes with sewn-in elastic (Capezio Child Hanami Ballet Shoe in Pink - Style No. 2037C or Capezio Adult Hanami Ballet Shoe in Pink - Style No. 2037W).
Hair must be neatly groomed in a high or low bun.
Ballet hip alignment belts are required for levels 1 through 5. Each level has an assigned color. Please wear the belt corresponding to your placement level. Belts must be purchased through the front office for color coordination.
- Level I: White
- Level II: Ballet Pink
- Level III: Turquoise
- Level IV: Lilac
- Level V: Red
- Level VI: Royal Blue (optional for Level 6 Ballerinas)
BOYS: All ballet levels require a fitted black or white tank or t-shirt, solid black shorts (above the knee only) or black ballet tights, and ballet shoes with sewn-in elastic (Capezio Child Hanami Ballet Shoe in Black - Style No. 2037C or Capezio Adult Hanami Ballet Shoe in Black - Style No. 2037W). Hair must be neatly groomed, and long hair should be tightly secured away from the face.GI
Dancers should wear tight-fitting dance clothes.
Acceptable tops: crop tops, leotards, and tight-fitting tank tops. Sports bras are allowed.
Acceptable bottoms: tight-fitting shorts, briefs, or leggings.
Hairstyle is at the instructor's discretion.

The Dancer may also choose to take class barefoot or in socks at the teacher's discretion.
The CAPEZIO "Turning Pointe 55" Pirouette Shoe by Sophia Lucia is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED for Level 2 and up in the above classes.
Dancers can wear either tight or loose-fitting dance clothes.
Non-marking street shoes or combat boots should be worn.
Hairstyle is at the instructor's discretion.
Female dancers should wear tight-fitting dance clothes (crop tops, leotards, or tight-fitting tank tops). Sports bras are allowed. Acceptable bottoms: tight-fitting shorts, briefs, or leggings. No loose clothing.
Male dancers are required to wear tight-fitting tank tops or t-shirts and loose athletic shorts (knees must be visible).
Tap shoe selection will be guided by our knowledgeable Tap Instructors based on placement level and age.
GIRLS: may wear crop tops, tight-fitting tank tops, or leotards with tight-fitting dance shorts or leggings.
BOYS: may wear shorts and fitted tank tops.
HAIR: should be tightly secured away from the face.
Loose clothing is not permitted for the safety of both dancer and instructor.
